Elizabeth Carey is a communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications and television broadcasting.
She’s an engaging motivational speaker who has taught public speaking and communications at the collegiate level. Now she lends her talents to inspire community leaders, business executives and students.
Elizabeth has a unique skill set that spans the business sector from large corporations like United Parcel Service to small Western New York firms like Foit-Albert Associates. She’s proven she can close the deal as a sales professional while delivering results as a marketing expert.
But you’ll most likely recognize her as a television personality. She provides the Business First segments on WKBW-TV. She launched a news operation, Time Warner Cable 8 News, from the ground up for Time Warner Cable in Jamestown and served as news director and anchor there. She also worked as a news reporter for Time Warner’s R News in Rochester. And in her early reporting days, you’d find her covering breaking news for WIVB-TV and the former WGR Newsradio 55 in Buffalo.
Elizabeth holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from SUNY Buffalo State. She has a proven track record as a go-to business presenter and she’s ready to put her skills to work to motivate your group.
